Bambo Nature Eco Disposable Nappy

Bambo Nature eco-disposables are excellent both for baby and the environment. They are as convenient to use as high street disposables, yet are 100% more biodegradable.

One of the main benefits of Bambo nappies is that they have a starch-based absorbant core (made from a combination of conventional gel and an environmentally friendly granule), which helps to keep wetness away from delicate skin. They are free from phthalates, lotions, dyes and perfumes, making them a perfect choice for babies suffering from eczema.

The nappies are oxygen bleached, which means they are white in colour, yet free from chlorine bleaching.

Little ones will be comfortable in Bambo nappies – they have latex-free waistband and leg cuffs, and stretchy resealable fastenings. They are a slim nappy which allows freedom of movement. There is also a breathable back sheet to allow air to circulate to the skin, thereby reducing moisture.

Bambo are made in Denmark and have been awarded the Nordic Swan certification, which means they have been audited on the manufacturing process, from raw materials to the output of the finished goods, to ensure they are a good environmental choice.

Moltex Oko Eco Disposable Nappy

For the times when cloth napppies aren't convenient, the Moltex Oko disposable nappy is the next best thing. Manufactured iin Germany, it is the only disposable nappy in Europe which is recommended as being Eco-Friendly in its production.

The core is unbleached meaning no pollution caused by bleaching agents like chlorine and there is less water waste at the manufacturing stage. The outer packaging is made from maize starch which is 100% bio-degradable.

Dermotologically tested and approved, they are recommended for babies with sensitive skin and eczema because they are free from the unneccesary perfumes and chemicals found in conventional disposables. The core contains tea extracts which offers increased care for sensitive skin and also reduces odours.
