We understand that it is always easier to understand how something works when you can see and feel it and that is why, if you are interested in real nappies but dont know where to start, we are happy to visit you at home.  We will demonstrate how modern cloth nappies work and answer any of your questions, giving you comprehensive advice based on your personal circumstances.  We won't take up much of your time (we know how busy you are) and there will certainly be no pressure on you to buy anything, in fact, we always recommend that you take some time to think about our advice and discuss it with your partner, friends or family before deciding which nappy is right for you.

Hire of Tens Machine

The 'Mama Tens' is a top of the range maternity tens machine which, if used during the first stages of labour, will provide a drug free method of pain releif.  Recommended by Doctors, Midwives and Physiotherapists, a digital tens machine works by releasing the body's endorphins and blocking pain messages travelling to the brain.  The digital unit has three pre-set programmes (one for each of the three stages of labour), with no fiddly controls to adjust and an integral booster button.  Perfectly safe for you and your baby, it does not cause drowsiness and is compatible with other forms of pain relief.  It is also useful for post-caesarean pain.
